Jim joined HCP in 2005. Previously, he worked in a range of management and consulting roles at HSBC and Capgemini (formerly Ernst & Young Strategic Advisory Services). He also worked in an operating role at @Link Networks, a Madison Dearborn Partners, and Columbia Ventures portfolio company. Jim served eight years as a Field Artillery Captain in the U.S. Army and the U.S. Army Reserves.
Jim received a BS in Engineering and Political Science from the United States Military Academy at West Point, where he currently serves as an advisor to the Board of Directors of the Association of Graduates, and an MBA in Finance from Chicago Booth, where he received the Dean’s Award of Distinction.

Victor co-founded HCP and brings over 40 years of experience in private equity, investment banking and capital markets to the firm. Prior to HCP, Victor was the Regional Head for Latin America at Banque Paribas (New York) where he was also on the Board of Directors for Paribas North America. He also worked at CS First Boston in London where he was a Managing Director and led the firm’s private placement and origination activity in Europe as well as investment banking in Spain and Portugal. He has also held leadership positions at JP Morgan and Chemical Bank.
Victor received a BS in Economics from the University of Miami and pursued graduate studies in business administration at New York University. He is a board member of the New America Alliance.

David joined HCP in 2007. Previously, he worked in the investment banking group at Duff & Phelps, focusing on middle–market M&A across a variety of industries. Jason joined HCP in 2007. Prior to HCP, he worked at Chicago Growth Partners, a private equity firm and focused on opportunities in healthcare services, business services, education, industrial growth, and technology. He also worked at William Blair Capital Partners where he focused on growth equity investments. He started his career as an investment banker at Thomas Weisel Partners in San Francisco and New York. Jason received a BA in Economics with honors from Vanderbilt University and an MBA at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

Carlos co-founded HCP and brings over 20 years of private equity and leveraged finance experience, focused primarily on small, growing businesses. Prior to HCP, he was a Partner at CM Equity Partners, a New York-based private equity fund focused on the acquisition of middle market manufacturing, distribution, and service–based companies. Carlos also worked at The Chase Manhattan Bank, where he worked on numerous acquisitions and financing transactions with leading U.S. private equity firms. Carlos received a BBA in Finance with honors from the University of Puerto Rico and a Masters in Applied Economics and Corporate Finance from the University of Michigan, where he was a Horace H. Rackham Scholar.
