Amador S. Bustos

Mr. Bustos is currently an Investment Committee member of HPE I and HPE II.

Mr. Bustos is a leading Hispanic entrepreneur in the media sector who completed one of the largest consolidations of minority-owned radio stations.  Mr. Bustos started Z-Spanish Radio Network, Inc. (“Z-Spanish”) in 1992 and led an expansion and consolidation strategy. In August 2000 Z-Spanish merged with Entravision Communications Corporation at a $475 million valuation.  Mr. Bustos is currently building another national Spanish language radio company called Bustos Media Corp which is focusing on the second-tier, hyper-growth Hispanic markets in the United States. Besides its group of radio stations, the company also operates Bustos Media Networks which offers premier syndication of Spanish language programming.

Mr. Bustos earned a BA in philosophy and ethnic studies and an MA in education administration from the University of California at Berkeley, where he has also pursued doctoral studies in sociology of education.
